The Almirah Of Memories

 The Almirah Of Memories

We're right back! Standing in front of the almirah of memories wide open, with the book of nostalgia held in our hands. So where were we? I guess we have read the first page. Isn't it? There are a hundreds of pages but I do know that in this fast moving world no one actually has an ample amount of time. If not all, then at least let's go through a few of them.
Let's flip through the second one....
We've already been talking about the legends - chocolates and ice creams. Let us come to food now. And yeah the 'exotic' ones made in our birthday 😂 Irony is, they weren't exotic. 🤣 Chhole poori and kheer. And yes! The moment I hear the word 'birthday', it reminds me of the concert which we forcefully had to show to the audience. It was to entertain them but actually it bored them. 😐
What days were they! Bindaas (cool for gen Z. It's necessary to tell them 😆) befikar (carefree, tension free).
We didn't need too much of those worldly pleasures.  The way, expensive hotels, branded dresses and Star bucks coffee satisfy today's kids. We weren't like them. What satisfied us was just sailing of the paper boat on the stagnant rain water. So that's why money can't buy you happiness. A pure delight can only be obtained when you enjoy each and every moment of your life. Always follow what you wish to do, listen to your heart, listen to your  inner voice and not the noise of the social world. My God! Dunno why I just started preaching 🤣🤣 Well, I'm not aware that you've experienced it all or not but  I have.
I was lucky in a way that our momma allowed us for the wedding of our dolls. We used to make a doll house with the help of my brothers and friends. One of our gang members is not with us now. We've a bond of few days with some people you know.
So yes, it was pretty much fun. And we used to request our mom to cook us some pulao (dish made with rice) and chicken curry for the Baratis 😁😁 (guests from groom's side). It all was made ready but with a warning, "Don't make noise or else you'd be punished and I'll make your friends go back home."
Uhmm Sometimes I feel, that the childhood memories are the biggest of treasures. Isn't it?

Let's flip through the third page....
I think we've entered the time of teenage. We
were growing up. Our dreams were  expanding. We started to think about our carrier. We got serious about our studies. But we were very fond of music. The pop culture had just arrived. The bands like Jal, Euphoria, Indian Ocean, Bombay Vikings all these we band of boys. In reply of these, an all girls band was launched; band Viva, Nirvana and many more.
If you get to remember something do share with us.
In our era resources were limited but satisfaction was unlimited.
I think we were very much blessed that we were born in that era and could experience those days!!☄🌠🌟

Mother's Day

Mother's Day Today I am not composing a poem. I feel like having a deep conversation with you.  Sometimes, talking feels so good; like a therapy to calm your soul. All you need is a good listener who listens to you with all their dedication. Right, no?  Well, this is a piece of love from a mother's diary.  When the first rays of Sunshine strike the Earth, the earth smiles, and this happiness is felt inside a woman when she creates a life within herself. And this feeling is above all worldly pleasures. Maybe she feels herself to be on cloud nine? She must have felt this way, wouldn't have she? It seems as if happiness personified, the face glows like a rose, flying in beautiful coloured butterflies. The woman carries a life within her as a pearl inside an oyester.  When the little baby spreads its legs within the womb, that feeling is enough for the mum to strive on.  Time passes by, and finally the woman goes through a ton of pain to bring a life to this world....

Speechless

Speechless  The noise of Heart-melting sound, When I feel the beat of a Life; The moment, I feel mesmerized, Every moment, every day; I am connecting with dreams, Dreams of life, and a pleasant surprise; I feel speechless, to thank you Oh! My creator, what you do!    ~Hena Kausar                                                                                           Connecting With You    Hello!  Dear readers family, I really apologise for being late with my new blog. Here I am! With a small and sweet poem; Hope you all will like it.

The Almirah of Memories

The Almirah of Memories  After a long time, I am standing in front of  the almirah of memories wide open. Perhaps, I'm in search of something. Oh! Yes. Here it is; the old book of nostalgia, coated with dust. There's a glimpse of smile on my lips, but my eyes are filled with numerous drops of memories, maybe because this nostalgic dust have got into my eyes. Ah! Never mind. C'mon let's flip through the pages together.  First page........ I could see some little kids running around a big courtyard, creating a noise, the one which kids usually make while playing :) here comes; the ice cream seller yelling in his sweet voice well but only for the kids not for parents :) "Get some Ice cream on this hot summer day. When the sun is shining bright" (ice cream waala.. kulfi waala..). To get ice cream, you need money. Right? So get it from the treasures of Granny (dadi). 😀 "Here you go. But make sure to finish it before your mom's sight falls on it. Want to g...
