Alone
Today, when I enetred the park, once again I saw that lady sitting on the last bench in the corner of the park.
Don't know why, I'm getting attracted towards her. As usual she had a soft smile on her face and sitting all alone with a book. A moment or two later, She looked around at the kids playing in the park.
I wanted to talk to her, I'm curious to know about her. But I am not able gather enough courage.
But her soft smile attracts me.
Anyways, today, I've gathered all my courage and I am moving towards her bench. As usual, She was sitting with her book.
"May I sit here, please." I asked.
She raised her head and looked at me, after listening to my voice.
She nodded her head with her smile.
I sat next to her, feeling like I conqoured the first step of success. Hahaha.
"Hello" Second stone in a stagnant stream.
She looks around, and lastly she looked at me.
"Hello" She said with a pause.
But soon she winded up all her stuff and left the park.
"Oh mann" I was so upset. I wanted to know about that mysterious lady. 'Mysterious'; a name given to her by me. Otherwise, She wasn't involved in any sort of mystery.
Anyways, I wasn't the one among who gave up too soon.
Few days later, I finally managed to talk to that mysterious lady.
She replied to my greeting by a mere smile.
But I too was quite obstinate, I won't leave it without talking to her.
"Do you come here each day?" I asked.
She nodded.
"Why do you prefer to sit here? I mean, on the last bench of the park."
"I love it" She replied
"Why don't you talk to anyone?"
"Because, I love to be alone."
"Isn't anyone else, other than you in your home?" I questioned.
"No, all are there." She answered in a few words.
As I started to open up, She winded up all her stuff.
But I was curious. My mind was filled with questions. And I wanted to seek answers to all of them. Seeing her go away made me furious.
I too got out with her. I didn't have any special plans so I went straight to my home. No wonder why, I started waiting eagerly for tomorrow's eve.
I reached the park, next evening. But alas! The bench was vacant. Maybe the mysterious lady didn't come. I walked for a while and came back.
That night, I wondered why do I want to know about her.
I didn't have any answer. Sleeping was the last option I was left with.
I used to go there every day. And came home back heart broken because I couldn't find her.
A week later, I finally spotted the mysterious lady sitting on her favourite bench. My soul yelled, "Hurry". I was almost jumping with joy. But I had to calm down myself and sat next to her.
"Hello" I greeted.
She nodded her head with a smile in reply.
"Do you want to ask something from me?" For the first time, the mysterious lady questioned.
"No, nothing." I became a man of few words.
"Okay." She nodded.
Before she gets lost in the book, I spoke up.
"Do you live in the neighbourhood or something?" I asked
"Okay, If you don't mind can I ask something?"
Now, I could successfully gain the concentration of the mysterious lady.
May be she loved herself.thats y she don't want to talk and sit alone self love is also pure love some time it may b dangerous.

DeleteGreetings dear child.
ReplyDeleteI have a request.
People here in Vietnam do not give the respect teachers deserve because teachers are paid less than other professions like doctor or engineer. My relatives do the same. Can you write something that may create a big impact. Teachers must not be respected by their salaries instead by the respect that they get from their students. Teaching is a noble profession. We do not care about money we work selflessly for a good future of our students people should realise that. Please do write something.
May god give you and your family, good health, wealth and knowledge. May He keep you in his safe hands.
Amen
Thanks for your wishes and prayers!
DeleteIt will be great for me that I could write something for you. I am not worth of writing on teachers because all I have learnt is from teachers. But still I will try my best to write.
May God bless you good health.
